This first report reflects the actual status. In fact, we are still awaiting more sponsoring and further donations before we can really kick-off.

The premises for the baby daycare centre Kusasa in Khethani are built.

The finishing of the building is about to start (painting, fencing, etc).

We are still looking for adequate co-workers. We will not employ the first applicant. At this moment, interviews are finding place with some possible candidates.

In agreement with Barbara, who is responsible for the Khethani pre-schools, 15 February 2009, should be the date to start. She will also be responsible for the daily working of the Kusasa baby daycare centre.

At the first sponsor event, which found place at the fitness centre Watermolen in Overijse / Belgium in June 2007, we collected R2500 from the Kiwanis. This amount will be used to buy the material we need to be able to start with the Kusasa centre. We also asked the local community to donate some material.
